Prophecy like any gift of
the Spirit can come in various ways. The Spirit of God is not
limited to man's forms or religious ideas. I Cor. 12:1-3. The
Apostle Paul by the Spirit tells us; "not to be ignorant of
Spiritual Gifts. They are not dumb Idols; they live and move an have
their being in Christ. That no man speaking by the Holy Spirit will
curse the Christ living in a brother or sister because we do not use
the same delivery, style or technique. The word itself will testify
to the Lordship of Jesus by the inner witness of the Holy Ghost.
There are diversities of gifts. Differences of administering the
gifts and diversities of operations of the gifts but it is the same
Holy Spirit and the same Lord working all and in all.

Our Purpose is edify [build
up], exhort [lift up], and comfort [cheer up], the Body of
Christ, Jesus' Bride.

Eph.4 God has given to His
Church the Ascension Ministry Gifts of Apostles, Prophets,
Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. A Prophets role is to provide
direction and encouragement to the Body of Christ through the gift
of prophecy.

A Prophetic Word may include
one or more of: A Word of Knowledge which can confirm and
bring revelation of past, present or future situations. A Word of
Wisdom which can bring the solution to the situation. Prophecy,
Healing, Faith for something, etc.
Giving a Gift for a Word.

II Cor.9:6-14 For it is written in
the Law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out
the grain."...."That He who plows should plow in hope, and He who
threshes in hope should be a partaker of His hope."

'If we have sown Spiritual things for
you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? If others
are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more?
Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest
we hinder the Gospel of Christ."

I Cor.12: Jesus tells us through Paul
that He would not have us ignorant of Spiritual Gifts. "He says that
there are different kinds of gifts, kinds of service and kinds of
working of these gifts but it is the same Spirit, the same Lord and
the same God working all in all."

I Cor.14:1 "Follow the way of love
and eagerly desire Spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.
For everyone who prophesies speaks to men and women for their
strengthening, encouraging and comfort."

II Peter 2:19-21 "and we have a
"More sure Word of Prophecy" and you will do well to pay attention
to it as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn
and the morning star arises in your hearts. Above all you must
understand that no prophecy of scripture a came about by the
Prophets own interpretation. For Prophecy never had it's
origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were
carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2 since the days of the early
Pentecostal outpouring God has been making His will known to us not
only through the scriptures but through the Holy Spirit as he speaks
through His servants the Prophets. Prophecy speaks to our personal
lives as God reveals Himself, confirming His word to us and opening
us up to His Possibilities. The Rhema Word of the Lord presently
coming to us can help establish us in "Present Truth" and encourage
us with faith and hope for tomorrows visions and dreams He has given
to us. The ability to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church
[God's family] has never ceased. The Holy Spirit is still at work
today hovering over chaos and bringing light to the situations of
our life.. He continues to speak and to guide us through the
affairs of life. He does not replace the Word [Holy Scriptures] but
works with them to build us up in Christ. The Holy Spirit is still
leading us into all truth. When we hear Him Speak forth, what He is
saying, is called Prophecy. When we speak Prophecy, it is called
Prophesying.
The Power of the Prophetic word of
the Lord to reproduce itself [Jer.1-Is.55]
The apostolic/prophetic word of the
Lord, spoken through His sons and
daughters, has within it the creative power to create significant
ability in the lives of those who passionately receive it.
The "sent word" will create abilities and possibilities in
the hearer's life. The word will never say, "Can you do?" It will
purposely express, "You will do."
The sent word will never respect the
parameters of the impossible,
and it will never submit to self-imposed limitations placed on it by the
status quo. It will do what it was sent to do.
Limitations will never hinder God's desire to give, but
self-imposed limitation will produce the unbelief that will cause one
not to receive from God what He has no problems in giving.
In His sent word, ability, faith, and
the capacity to become, are all housed inside and yoked together as
friends!
The command that was produced from the life of desire,
will empower you to
experience a creative understanding, from which, our website, as well as
others, have been produced. The word of God, as well as the need for the
moment, can
produce within you an experience
where before there was no experience!
The sent word will
create within you an experience where there was
previously no experience!
There are businesses,
books, novels, and multi-million dollar ideas that are housed in you.
The sent word from God
will not
ask if you can make it happen. It will produce the power within you
that will inspire the impossible and the limited to extraordinarily
happen. There is indeed power in the word of the
Kingdom.
A prophetic command has, within it, the power to send you places.
The command from God has the power to create a door, and then open the
very door that was created for you. If there is no door to
represent the significant step of faith that you must accomplish
in your life, then the Father will make one for you! His words create
doors that no man can even see to shut! Amazing!
"DON'T
DESPISE THE PROPHETIC POWER OF A SENT WORD"
Do not despise prophesying. The realm of the prophetic
goes beyond the walls of church as we know it. Despise not the practical
elements of prophetic revelation that will come to you at any moment of
the day.
Despise not the significant power of prophetic relationships
that you may be involved in. The substance of the relationships has
within it the capacity to produce an insight that will give you the
ability to have SIGHT Into the invisible places of significant strategy.
In other words, a
prophetic word will give you the capacity to maneuver
through the
dark places of uncertainty, of unfamiliar courses, and give you the
answers and strategies to hidden and profound questions.
When Christ encountered the man with the withered hand, He
simply said, "Stretch forth thine hand" (Matthew 12:13). A simple
command, from the prophetic mind of Christ, will produce
possibilities from withered relationships, finances, dreams,
visions, and purposes. His word, when believed, embraced, and
endured, will produce a new thing from within you.
Do not ask, "How?" Don't ask, "Why?" Don't say, "He's
speaking to the wrong person!" Don't despise the prophetic power
of a sent word.
"IF THERE IS
PURPOSE WITHIN THE HEART, THERE IS A MANIFESTATION WITHIN YOUR HANDS!"
Familiarity will destroy the "Significant Moment" for any
word. It will call to question the validity of the word, and give due
respect to one's limited perspective to time, ability, health, or
culture.
When one becomes
familiar within prophetic
relationships, the word will be subconsciously forced to adhere to the
personality and fears of the listener. When this happens, there will be
an inward marveling of the unbelief that is experienced, and no great
work will be done within the atmosphere (Mark 6:4-6).
Now go, and do those things that He has purposed in your heart.
If there is a purpose within the heart, there is a manifestation within
your hands!
